The Portuguese capital is synonymous with ups & downs, from total collapse to complete rebuild - and nothing could symbolise its bittersweet struggles better than its iconic seven hills. Paula's love for the geography of the city and the spirit of its people has inspired a statement ring in this collection, sculpted to represent the undulating peaks of the city. Carving its way through the hills of Lisboa is the Aqueduto das Aguas Livres, a monument with deep, sweeping arches that is re-imagined in this range by a stand-out gold necklace that celebrates these distinctive vertical curves.
The Casa dos Bicos, an iconic building within the city, stands as a monument to the Portuguese Manueline style combined with the architect's love for Renaissance art. Covered in a facade of spikes, diamond-shaped stones that protrude distinctly from its exterior - the building is a gem within the city and one that Paula is shining a light on with a series of unique earrings and bold rings that mimic its off-beat style.

What are PVJ pieces made from?
Each piece is made of sterling silver, with a 24K gold-plated finish available on select styles. Materials and finish options are listed on each page.
Is your sterling silver certified?
Yes. Our sterling silver is assayed and hallmarked by the Contrastaria, Portugal's official assay office, run by INCM (Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda). Their mark is struck next to our own maker's mark. It is an independent guarantee from the State that the metal is 925 sterling silver, rather than simply our word for it. Hallmarking applies by law to silver pieces over 2 grams, so our smallest earrings carry the maker's mark alone.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders ship from our Atelier in Lisbon within 1 to 6 business days. Pickup from the Atelier and Portugal mainland orders over 120 EUR ship free; shipping elsewhere in the EU, Europe, the US and Canada is calculated at checkout.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes, standard orders can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in original packaging. Custom sizes and bespoke pieces are final sale. Please email info@paulavieirajewellery.com to start a return.
How do I take care of my jewellery?
Handle it gently, remove it before bathing, sleeping or washing your hands, and keep it away from perfume and lotion. Store your pieces individually in a soft pouch and polish with a dry cloth to restore shine.
