No prior experience is needed, just a curiosity to explore and the joy of creating something meaningful with their own hands.
How it works
Receive the voucher: After purchase, you'll get a printable PDF voucher by email, ready to gift whenever you're ready.
They choose their date: The gift voucher is open-dated and valid for 12 months from purchase. Whenever they're ready, they can email us with the voucher reference, and we'll find a date that suits them.
They craft their ring: Your loved one will join Paula at the bench for a hands-on silver ring making session in our Atelier.
One voucher is required per person.

BEYOND THE CRAFT
We invite them to savour a touch of Portugal during their workshop. They will enjoy a complimentary glass of fine port wine, accompanied by our most iconic treat: the pastel de nata.

They'll learn traditional techniques in a relaxed studio setting, with expert guidance and access to professional tools. At the end of the workshop, they will have shaped a ring with their own hands, and taken with them a deeper appreciation for the craft.

The price includes everything to design, craft, and take home a custom-made silver ring. They will have access to all the necessary materials and receive expert guidance throughout.
Meet the host, Paula.
Since 1994, Paula Vieira has crafted contemporary, one-of-a-kind jewellery in Portugal. Inspired by nature’s raw beauty, her collections blend expertise with noble materials to create timeless investment pieces.
Paula’s early teaching experiences shaped her career path. Since 1996, she has taught at various prestigious institutions including ESAD’s Jewellery degree in Porto and the Contacto Directo School. She continues to inspire students at the Jewellery Center in Lisbon, as well as in her atelier in the heart of the city.

The voucher is 170 EUR, which covers the 3-hour session, all materials, tools and guidance for whoever redeems it. Optional extras, like gold plating, are paid separately by the recipient on the day.
How does the gift voucher work?
After purchase, you'll receive a printable PDF voucher by email, ready to gift straight away, even at the last minute. It's open-dated and valid for 12 months from purchase, so whenever they're ready to book their session, they simply email us with the voucher reference, and we'll find a date that suits them.
Do I need to buy more than one voucher for a group?
Yes, one voucher is required per person. If you're gifting the workshop to more than one person, each of them will need their own voucher to book their place at the bench.
Is there a minimum age to take part?
There's no set minimum age. We welcome participants of most ages, provided they're comfortable working with tools at the bench under guidance. If you're gifting the workshop to a younger recipient, get in touch beforehand so we can make sure it's the right fit.
What should they wear or bring to the workshop?
Everything they need will be provided, including an apron, tools and materials, so there's no need to bring anything special along. However, it's genuinely hands-on work and can get a little dusty, so we'd suggest they wear something comfortable that they don't mind getting potentially a little messy and to tie long hair back if they have it.
How many people are in each ring making workshop?
Never more than four. Where most ring-making workshops are built around larger groups, ours are deliberately kept small.
This means Paula can be present with each person through every stage, adjusting the process and making sure the ring they create feels genuinely theirs.
Can they have their ring gold-plated instead of silver?
Yes, gold plating is available as an optional extra. It's applied at the end of the workshop, once their ring is finished, for an additional 18 EUR paid on the day.
What language is the workshop taught in?
English or Portuguese, whichever feels most comfortable for them.
Where in Lisbon is the silver ring workshop held?
Our silver ring workshop takes place at our Atelier, nestled in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal, near Avenida de Roma.
What if their preferred day or time isn't available?
Our regular silver ring making workshops take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm or 6pm. Since booking happens by email once they're ready to redeem the voucher, we'll work with them directly to find a date and time that suits their schedule.
What if they need to reschedule their workshop booking?
Plans can change. They can contact us at least 72 hours in advance, and we'll be happy to accommodate their request based on availability.
